this concept. It is an extremely fast paced game which needs a high amount of skill and gives a lot of exercise to the player and plays a
major role in the physical & mental well being of the players.
This game finds its mention in the epic as old as “The Mahabharata” and has been played for a long time not only in Maharashtra but all
over India as well. The great Maratha leader, Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj may also have been inspired by this game and took the idea of
guerilla warfare forward. Surprise attack is the most important skill and tactic of this game. The soul of the game is good observation,
concentration, adaptation, agility and fast decision making powers to trap the opponent.
