Nav Maharashtra Sangh and Kho-Kho are synonymous with each other. The association of Kho-Kho and Nav Maharashtra
Sangh goes back to more than five decades. Nav Maharashtra Sangh was formed with the sole aim of promoting and propogating Kho-Kho to the
international arena. Nav Maharashtra Sangh is known to organize All India Level Kho-Kho Championships every 4-5 years. The latest tournament
was held in November 2015.
In the past 50 years the team has won several major tournaments at the State and National Level. NMS has won the prestigious Nerurkar cup
eight times which includes 2 hat-tricks a great achievement in itself. NMS has to its credit 4 Abhimanyu, 11 Eklavya, 17 Shree Shiv
Chhatrapati, 2 Dadoji Konddev, 1 Shri Chaatrapati Utkrushta Krida Margadarshak and 1 Arjun Award. The team has also given the Maharashtra

The establishment of NMS, a small seed sown by sport lovers dedicated to Kho-Kho has today
become a big tree. NMS has now become a legendary name in the world of Kho-Kho. Its journey has lots of struggle but at the
same time it is full of all kinds of achievements any sportsperson can think of. It is a tradition of NMS to conduct All India
Kho-Kho Tournaments every 4-5 years. Each of its tournaments has proved to be a memorable event for the players, officials and
the spectators also due to its immaculate arrangement and wide publicity.
In the last 5 decades NMS has produced thousands of players, hundreds of officials and numerous Kho-Kho lovers all over India.
The players of NMS have won the hearts of spectators from every nook and corner of India. Its medal tally goes into thousands,
it has got outstanding and unique galaxy of award winners and officials. The players of NMS are shining in all walks of life.

NMS is known to take great care of their players, their exercise, daily routine and diet. Special medical consultants are
appointed to keep the players mentally and physically fit. Great care is taken to keep the ground fit for play and good playing

love for the game which shows in the amount of time they invest in their players. They serve as excellent mentors to the
